Josh Alexander founded J. Alexander Law Firm on a single idea, and he put it on the wall in two words: It’s Personal. After a wreck on 635 or a crash on the Loop, people rarely arrive knowing what they need. They arrive frightened, in pain, and already fielding calls from an adjuster. Josh built a firm meant to answer that call first, and to answer it in whichever language the family speaks.

His path to the courtroom started in the Marine Corps, where he served through 2007 and deployed during Operation Iraqi Freedom. He came home, earned a degree in political science and government from The University of Texas at Austin, and went on to St. Mary’s University School of Law in San Antonio, where he was active in the Hispanic Law Students Association, the Oil and Gas Law Society, and the Negotiations External Advocacy Program. Early in his career he worked on the class action litigation against Volkswagen and Fiat Chrysler over diesel emissions fraud, learning firsthand how corporate defendants and their counsel behave when documents decide the case.

That experience shapes the cases he takes now. Josh Alexander handles rear-end and T-bone collisions, rollovers, head-on crashes, hit-and-run claims, and wrecks involving company vehicles. He handles commercial truck and 18-wheeler cases, along with the delivery fleets that fill Texas neighborhoods, including Amazon, FedEx, UPS, and USPS vehicles, plus garbage trucks and dump trucks. He represents motorcyclists, who get blamed by insurers almost by reflex, and pedestrians, who face the same presumption. He handles Uber and Lyft claims, bus collisions, drunk driving crashes, and wrongful death cases for families across Texas.

The trucking work is where the clock matters most. Telematics, electronic logging device records, driver duty logs, and maintenance files begin disappearing within days of a crash. Josh Alexander moves to preserve that evidence immediately rather than waiting to see what the carrier produces, and he personally manages the firm’s most catastrophic injury files instead of handing them off.

He is licensed in all Texas courts, is a lifetime member of the Multi-Million Dollar Advocates Forum, and was named to the 2026 class of America’s Top 100 High Stakes Litigators. The firm works out of Dallas, Fort Worth, Arlington, Houston, San Antonio, and Canton, and Josh travels to clients at home or in the hospital when they cannot travel to him.
